Homing Sculpfun s30 with lightburn

Hi, please am new in using sculpfun S30 pro with lightburn but am facing a problem not able to solve it, when am pressing HOME my laser is moving to the boundary with non stop keep moving like it needs to cross the boundary and a very bad noise coming so i have to turn it off ,and sometimes the limit switches are giving error.

When trying to manually move upward, downward, left, right it is moving perfectly , but when am pressing HOME it’s like the coordinates are reversed NOTING that when moving manually its showing good coordinates .

Can anyone help please?

I tried using another software but same result, it seems am having a problem with my sculpfun … can anyone help to solve the issue ?

If you click on home, does it move to the correct location (front-left)? Or does it move elsewhere? If you use the arrow buttons in the move window, does the head move correctly?

Go to the console window and send ‘$$’ to the laser. It should return a list of firmware settings. Copy and post them here.

When i click home it goes to the correct location but with non-stop, and when i use the arrows buttons in the move window it moves correctly in all direction

This is the list when sending “$$” :

Please see below the link containing 2 videos for what is happening when moving by arrows and when pressing HOME .

Thank you for your support

Put the laser head in the upper right position. Press the home button. When it starts to move, manually trigger one of the micro switches. It should stop moving in one of the directions. This will tell you if the micros are reversed. However, your machine is making the micros and still wanting to move. I would double check the wiring. It sounds like they are wired wrong.

Your settings are ok. Movement also looks fine. Then it’s the switches that don’t seem to be recognized.
You can also test like this:
Send the question mark symbol “?” in the console window. You should get a string returned.
Then press and hold one of the switches, send the “?” again. Does the output change? It should. Do this with both switches.
You can also check here: Limit Switches - Diode Laser Wiki in the section of firmware settings, there is a paragraph about physically testing the switches.

Thank you very much for your support Melvin, i tried what you already suggested to me, after typing
“?” in the console window first time i got the following :
?

<Idle|MPos:0.000,0.000,0.000|FS:0,0|WCO:-410.000,-400.000,0.000>

ok

And after pressing and holding on the switches i got the following :

Grbl 1.1h [‘$’ for help]

[MSG:‘$H’|‘$X’ to unlock]

ALARM:1

Hard limit triggered. Machine position is likely lost due to sudden and immediate halt. Re-homing is highly recommended.

?

<Alarm|MPos:0.000,0.000,0.000|FS:0,0|Pn:XY|WCO:-410.000,-400.000,0.000>

Nothing yet happened as a result and am still having the same problem… is there is any other suggestions to solve it please?
