I read that xTool’s newest RA2 units are no longer compatible with any other laser brand. xTool asked for my order info and confirmed mine was not compatible. Yet the rotary manual, and Amazon’s ad, said it was, and it came with an additional cable. So I am thinking WTF, it is just a stepper motor, how can it not work?
I paid a bunch of money for the RA2 and this was not acceptable. I buy a 4PDT toggle switch and go to work. The little patch cable they included meant I could cut it in half, extend the wires, and only needed to fabricate one JST 2.5 plug for the controller board.
Remember this is for the RA2 and Sculpfun S30 Pro, so your mileage may vary.
The wire colors were just to keep track of what went where.
