I’m designing a miniature headboard and what I did was start with a rectangle, then used the node editor to create some curvature to one upper corner. I’d like to find a way to copy that to the other side and while I’ve used “mirror”, that just reverses which side of the shape has the curves. How can I achieve this?
I think I’d duplicate the shape, turn it around, and use a boolean function to add it to the other side.
There are a couple ways to achieve this. One, duplicate the shape then mirror it and use the node editor to remove everything not wanted and join together. Somewhat labor intensive.
Or, make a rectangle larger than the headboard, align the left edge to the center of the headboard and use the cut shapes function then delete the right half. Duplicate the left side, mirror it and move into position and join together.
There are probably other ways to accomplish this, but these are the 2 I can think of now.
Upload the file and I’ll do it for you. Should take me about 10 seconds once I download the file
I will certainly try these next time and see which method(s) I prefer. Thank you for this advice - having a blast learning this software!
This method was VERY fast and easy - thanks!
