How do I close the Black lines, using the shape of the green. I’m trying to cut the black lines out as a grill mesh, and use the green lines as a colored etch
You can use the line tool o connect the lines. May need to use the node editor after to close the shapes.
First duplicate your shapes and put aside, with Scissors-tool you could “cut” the green lines that don´t matter then put the needed green lines on the black Layer. After select the shapes and that do a Break apart and a Join selected shapes and rectifies the open ones.

Not sure how I got it to work, but it did cut as a needed. I ended up making a second offset, then editing the lines 1 by one. I still cant get the trim ring to be fill without it filling the entire center section. Its getting painted anyway, so its not that big of a deal. Thank you for the help
