How do I make Letters solid fill and not just an outline

Could someone direct me to place to find out how to make lettering solid instead of outline.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the various Cut settings.

This is done in the cut layer. You would choose “fill”. If you look at the preview you will see what it looks like :blush:

I just tried that and the fill burned and left the letters , so they are cut around and left high.

  1. Full screenshot of LightBurn showing the design
  2. Photo of the resultant burn
