How do I make specific notes for each element of a project?

Hi All.
Is it possible in Lightburn to make notes for the individual elements.
Notes on what the element is, what material is to be used and where it belongs in the project.

With your project open select ‘show notes’ from the File dropdown menu, the following pop up will appear.

Input your notes, the note will be saved with the project

I hope this is what you were after

Not quite. For a project I draw many elements and I would like to be able to add a note to each element, in order to remember what this specific element is and where it belongs in the whole project.
How do I use “Show Notes” for that?

I have Cypcut for the metal laser. This has a list of the parts. The file name remains there. The list is used for nesting.

Unfortunately, Lightburn doesn’t have that.

I use layers T1 and T2 for this purpose (also).
I draw a frame and write the information I want in there. You can also use another “normal” layer that you don’t use on a daily basis and make this layer permanent/exclusive to you note layer.

I use T2 for drawing notes that are specific to the part.

CTRL+ALT+N is the keyboard shortcut for notes.

Let’s say a project consists of 20 different parts.
I would like to be able to make a note on each and every one of all 20 parts.
What part it is and where it belongs in the project.
“Show Notes” can only show notes you write about Lightburn itself and what else you have to remember.
It cannot be used for what I want.

Peter, you may need to change your post heading so that you don’t get a response for “adding standard notes” in LB.
Apart from that, I don’t think there are any other solutions than those already named.
