How do I show which layer is being burned and percentage for each layer?

Hi, is there any way in Lightburn to show which layer is currently being burned, and the percent complete for individual layers as well as the overall percent complete? Thanks!

No, impossible. But you can either monitor the console window or burn each layer individually.

You can watch it in the Console window or at the bottom of the screen, but what is reported is ahead of what is actually happening due to streaming.

There is nothing for this. A full layer could be streamed in an instant.

Look to the left of the blue status bar. That is an estimate. If the estimate is low, it will start showing a negative remaining number that counts up. Until you click on something, the final time will show at the bottom.

This is a fiber machine, not grbl. There’s no console.

With a JCZ control board the software loads as much as it can to it. It doesn’t communicate back to the software what it’s up to.

So there is no indication where it is in the job.

Right, did not catch that!

I keep forgetting more and more people are buying fiber machines now.

That’s OK, don’t let it keep you up at night. :face_with_spiral_eyes:
