I may have inadvertently installed it as root (using sudo on the run file), this may be messing up my permissions…
I want uninstall and install again as user.

Run the .run
file again but with --uninstall
- just make sure you do that with sudo since you installed it as root in the first place.
Doesn’t matter which version of the .run
file you have, it’ll work.

Huh - that’s odd. That used to work, but maybe something with our build pipeline changed - I’ll look into it.
In the meantime:
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/LightBurn/
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/applications/lightburn.desktop
^ That is all the uninstall is supposed to do for root installs.
