How do you take the laser cross hair off to spot

how do you take the laser cross hair off and use the laser spot in lightburn? I know it’s something simple and have tried everything what am I missing?

2 Steps:

  1. disable the crosshair in XCS
  2. disable pointer offset in Device Settings in Lightburn; make sure to also enable “Enable Laser fire button” and “Laser on when framing” in the same window
