How would I apply an offset so I could delete the box but be able to start from that corner?
Just put the box on a different layer (different color) and turn that layer to “no output”.
It’ll still start from that same corner but wont burn.

It works this way for two reasons:
- It allows you to do what Hank suggests
- It lets you re-cut just a portion of your file if you need to, like a single layer or item, without having everything move
