How to bend objects and place them at 0°

Hello,

is it possible to bend derived shapes from images (e.g. lettering or closed contours) or rectangles?

With generated fonts it works that you can bend the font.

And how can you align objects (e.g. rectangles) to exactly 0° again if they have already been rotated in an undefined manner?

Not sure why it isn’t a regular function, but kind of hidden in node tools.
