How to edit an image

Is there a way to edit the attached image? I would like to make a couple of changes, like center “Helicopter” and delete “mechanics” and replace it with “Crewchiefs”. Have tried several ways but so far no luck.

You are going to have to start with a MUCH higher resolution image before you start editing it. That graphic is not going to turn out well as it stands.

Jim,
Here is a burn I did this morning. Didn’t come to bad considering there was no adjustments to it. And I just did a SWAG on the power and speed. Just need to edit it if possible. If I can’t I’ll just have to design a new one.I just like the layout of it and so does my customer…

Did this to get the best line trace I could get…

I can’t reproduce the font… but try this and see if it helps…

helicopter mechcanics - trace.lbrn2 (158.8 KB)

You’ll have to figure out the details how to reverse areas…

Good luck

Jack,
I never thought of doing a trace. I used yours and was able to center helicopter and delete mechanics and replace it with crewchiefs. Will work on it more in the morning but so far things are looking good. Thank you!!

Learn to use these tools and you can really do some impressive stuff… It helps to read other posts on how different problems are solved, most of the time with tools withing Lightburn…

I did some fiddling with the options in trace to do the best I could in the limited time frame…

Keep in mind that not all of these will clean up… you can use trace image multiple times to take an image apart and reconstruct it … Most users don’t seem to realize you can keep invoking it…

I have used trace before but did not know you can use it multiple times on the same image. Thanks for the tip!

Jack wanted to let you know that the trace is working perfectly. Got my editing done and changed some fonts also.Thank You a whole bunch!!!
