How to eliminate the mirror effect

Please confirm the following:

  1. Is the controller screen located at the front-left of the laser?
  2. Do your jogging controls in Move window work in the direction that you expect? Up moves up, down moves down, left moves left, and right moves right? If no, please list specifically what happens for each move
  3. Is the machine homing properly when you connect with LightBurn?
  4. If yes to above, is it homing to front-left?
  5. Have you made any changes to the GRBL machine configuration?

5 Yes, I did some changes folowing the instruccion of a free course in spanish in YouTube, The name is Guiti Tronic, but I did’n mess with deep configurations just the standar things, like working in millimeters and stuff like that

Is your design loaded and ready to burn? If not, it needs to be for that to appear.


It shows this warning for out of limits

Has it always shown this when attempting to burn? If not, make sure you home first. Don’t move the laser head by hand after homing.

Not always, it is home, I haven’t move it by hand

I’m kind of dissapointed with this trouble it’s been 2 or 3 days of messeges and not a solution, maybe a shoul try the other software Laser GRBL I think it’s call

Can you generate the gcode please? Ignore the error message if required.

It’s worthwhile to try in any case. Given your current symptoms I suspect you’ll get the same results but if you don’t, that could be another clue.

Maybe I put together the machine in a wrong way?

I was considering that as a possibility because of the symptoms but you saying that jogging controls and homing all work in the correct direction so that doesn’t seem as likely.

Are you able to generate the gcode?

Also, can you link the video that you used to change the GRBL configuration?

The laser goes out of limits it crashes with de axes, in the middle of the work stops and go back to home, I really do not get it

By the way, the gcode looks fine from what I can see. This means there’s something going on on the controller side.

Is it possible that you’ve connected the X-axis motor cable in backwards?
