how to drag or paste additional images on work space for a dummy
3 options:
- File->Import
- push import button on toolbar
- drag and drop from Finder
I have fonts, images etc. in downloads.do I open first then drag to work area this is all brand new to me. thanks
Fonts are an entirely different thing. LightBurn uses system fonts. So you would install those on your OS and they would be made available in LightBurn.
File location is irrelevant as long as you have access to the file.
If these are new concepts to you then I suggest you just work within LightBurn.
Open LightBurn then do File->Import in the File Menu. This should bring up a file selection dialogue. Follow the dialogue to the file that you want to import and then complete the dialogue by pushing the Open button (or whatever appropriate button, I may be misremembering the button name).
when I have fonts on workspace and try to add another, pops up save ?don’t want it saved just want to add another. I’m stuck!! I’m on Mac Pro
Can you explain what you’re trying to do? I hope you read my earlier comment about fonts and this is something different. And please attach a screenshot.
You’re doing this in LightBurn? How do you have a font on the workspace?
I can’t understand what you are saying. It’s incredibly important that you write with as much clarity and detail as possible as it reduces the effort to understand both the problem statement and the context.
for example I have a completed monogram on workspace, I want to add cotton ball image to workspace. I find on my light burn downloads, highlight then what ? when I hit open, the pop up window says save, no, cancel. just can’t figure how to open cotton balls on workspace along with the completed monogram
Which method from my original list are you using?
It sounds like you’re doing something else. Possibly opening the file rather than importing.
you don’t have to hit open, you have to hit import
