Have a Neje Max 3 with extensions with a plot space of 840 to 1030. I remember when I first set up the machine would home half way and had to place negative numbers for it to take the full plot area that appeared in Lightburn.
I updated lightburn, but now I dont know where it homes or origin. The machine is not getting the plot area that appears in Lightburn. When I home it, it hits the rails and makes a horrible noise. Does someone know how to fix this.
I turn lightburn on and this appears in console.

Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.
Once the Home command ($H) is sent, it is all in the controller. Lightburn has nothing to do with it after that.
In the Console window, enter $$ to get the list of GRBL parameter settings. Then copy all the $xx parameters to a text file and save two copies each in different places. Never change any parameters without doing this first.
Use the Machine Settings window to check the parameter settings. $3 controls Jog direction. $23 controls Home direction. $130 controls Xaxis max travel. $131 controls Yaxis max travel.
