How to set the laser frequency?

Hello! Please help me set up the laser frequency parameter. The Laser Tree LT-40W-F23 diode laser has the ability to change the frequency from 0 to 5000 Hz. Where in Lightburn can I set up these parameters? Thank you.

Some 32-bit controller boards support this capability, including mine. However, it would be a non-standard GRBL setting that only the manufacturer of your machine would know.

In my board, it is $33, but this does not appear in the Lightburn Device Settings page. This is because the mfg decided to not show it using the $$ command. My notes say Sculpfun says 1500 is the best setting. Do you think you can improve on what yours is set at?

Is there some reason that you wish to do this?

Most of these use 0.1mS for the period (1kHz).

Many times you need to recompile the firmware… Some do allow you to change it, but you need to give us a link to your controller. I took a few, but couldn’t find it.

Hello! Thank you for your attention to my problem. I made test runs in LaserGRBL, there this parameter can be changed and it really affects the quality and speed of cutting, without affecting the change in power. Therefore, I wanted to find how to specify the frequency in LightBurn.

That should be a controller parameter, and if you can set it in LaserGRBL, it should remain set.
