You need something called “single line font”, try searching here on the site and find the library you then need to install on your computer.
But, what you show, maybe it can be done with “normal” fill function instead of line mode?

A few simple steps will greatly improve the image you are engraving.
The jaggies on your curved portions can be smoothed out, which will add a lot of impact to the end product.
