I’ve read quite a few posts here about getting the Vista setup and the auto focus working but the lightburn software has changed. There is no longer a Focus Z section under the Gcode section. I used the Wecreat provided file but it didn’t seem to totally setup all the vista features. At this point I can’t get my UV laser focused to mark a sheet of paper to do the camera calibration. Is there an updated way to setup the Wecreat Vista in lightburn?
EDIT: I figured out that I have to use a custom Grbl instance. I used a file provided by “PARSEC” on this message board, but any time I use the focus button it shows nothing in the console and I have to reinitiate the connection before it will respond to commands again.
I too need assistance with getting the camera on my Vista working. I tried the instructions for the Vision camera and it did not work. When I try to jog the laser out of the view it only moves a few MMs.
When I tried framing for the pattern burn it only covered about a 1/2".
I wish I could help but it seems a lot of info is for the vision and doesn’t work for the vista. The vista focus works differently than the vision and I wonder if the focus macro doesn’t take that into account. My biggest issue is that after trying to do anything it usually goes dead and needs a restart to even move again. So I have not been using LightBurn on it, which is irritating. My camera is working, but you seem to be having the same issue where it freezes up and requires a reboot to operate again. It would be nice to know how this setup is supposed to work to have something to gauge progress against. I assume you’ve put the 20mm offset in the settings already? Are you able to see an image and refresh it?
I have not added the offset. I can see and image and refresh it. Now I cannot get the Vista to use the entire bed. When I click Frame it moves about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
I deleted the Vista and added it back. Did not fix it.
Frustrated.
