Is there a way to make a cursor show on the screen where the laser is at in the picture.
For positioning
I believe we are unable to see where the laser is during a job.

Not while the machine is running the job, because the controller does not continuously report the laser head position.
LightBurn cannot keep track of the position, because the controller holds an unknown number of commands in an internal buffer.
As @parsec points out, you can use the Show Last Position in the Laser window to find out where the laser head is when a job is not running, but that’s probably not what you want.
