I am getting the obnoxious lines. I’ve tried different speeds, power levels. I’ve tried both photo and tracing all in lightburn. I’ve tightened and loosened my belts and even greased my bearings. I’m using a 90watt Yorahome diode and am noting I’m having to turn it up higher in power than before to achieve the affects I want. I blew out the laser with compressed air and no difference.
This really looks mechanical. What happens if you change the scan angle to 90 or 45 degrees?
Show a picture of the mechanics for us to check. Belts are usually not the problem, the wheels are. Does it use wheels on the y-axis?
