i bought this software in good faith that it would work with my creality laser falcon. Even when lightburn senses the machine it still does not work. So at this time i want my money back in full or i will open a dispute with the credit card company. I tried to contact lightburn through your website but that link is not working .
But like Jack said above, post your issue and people on the forum are happy to help you work through it. There are many people successfully using Lightburn with Creality machines.
I don’t think you will find a better laser software than Lightburn.
I just did a search for falcon and got 50+ Topics returned. This would indicate a lot of people are using them with Lightburn, so opening a dispute would be a shame at the very least.
Contrary to what you read in the advertising, hobby lasers are not Plug-n-Play devices. Some even require factory supplied configuration files to get set up properly.
As @jkwilborn said, please post your issues, in detail, and many people will try to help you. I have included some important information below.
Once you get the hang of it, you will be amazed at the variety of things you can do with these machines.
thanks everyone for putting up with me and answering my questions. I think i have it working now i just have to experiment with the laser power and speed and the difference between vector cuts and engraving in lightburn i will figure it out. thanks again

Phillip,
I also have a Falcon 2 Laser and have been using LightBurn for over a year now. I tried a couple of other brands but none of them have the ease of operation or the capabilities that LightBurn has. Another great thing about LightBurn is the support available on this site. The members here can help you fix almost any problem.
I recommend the first thing that you do is to figure out how to use the LightBurn Test Pattern utility. It will save you a lot of time figuring out what settings to use.
I too have the Falcon 2 laser and it has worked with no issues for several years
One Note:
I also have an Ender 3 and a CNC on the same multi-port USB expander.
Sometimes the PC gets confused by the USB connections if I have the others powered on and selects the wrong one so I have to re-select it (this happened last weekend). Other than that no issues and it has worked great.
