Hi Angela - can you show what it looks like in the preview? (Press the button that looks like a computer monitor in the middle of the top toolbar, or press Alt-P).
Can you say what type of laser or controller you’re using? More info about your setup will help us figure out what other questions to ask to help you. (Is the machine area 4.5 x 6 inches?)
