I can't get rip off - G54 Offset values not 0

I can’t get rip off - G54 Offset values not 0 - Reset firmware and master, but nothing. Any help please.

I only understand the second half. Before telling you how to clear G54, we need to know why you want to. It is possible to impact Homing and positioning by changing it.

Cardinal Rule: Change nothing until you know why you are changing it and what will happen if you do.

We need more information so we can help you.

Hi, thank you for the answer

I think everything start when i try to change the mm to inches, after that i start to see that message.

What i did i try to reset the firmware in the machine and in the laser to see it it works, but now I want it to put it to normal.

Thank you again.

John Lara

I just remembered that i try to do the pattern for metal and when it finish it was beeping and did not do any engraving.

You can basically not engrave metal with a blue diode laser.

That should make no difference unless you changed the values too.

Hi,

I just want to put it like factory reset. star again normal

Send $RST=# to the laser.

You can also send $RST=* to do a complete reset.

After the the 2 codes

$RST=#

$RST=*

This is what I get.

In the Console window enter G54 X0 Y0 Z0

Then enter $# to make sure they changed. Not all controllers allow changes.

After code and check this is what I get

It seems there is a firmware issue. Or, better to say, they changed the firmware, and you need to contact the manufacturer to get a description on how to change it. The output you show is not standard grbl.
