The boolean operations are only valid when you have two selected objects.

Show us a screenshot. My crystal ball is not working and there are too many possible causes for us to guess at your problem.

I have an image of a fence with a post on each side and slats that are supposed to be engraved inside the fence. I keep getting a message saying these slats will be removed because they are not closed. I bought this from etsy. How do I close this so I can get the slats engraved? I have removed them and replaced them with slats (lines) I have made but I can’t get it to engrave these slats. I have an Atomstack A30 Pro if that helps. I’ve highlighted the entire image and tried to weld but the weld won’t highlight for me to use. I am still very new at this stuff and I could use the help…Debbie
Debbie, I am sure we can work out how to get the results you desire.
The best approach will be to have you post a screenshot of what you are working with. Even better would be a LB file uploaded here, so we can put our hands on exactly what you are working with.
