I did a polar pattern 8 holes and

When I do the preview, gives me the following message “computing inner/outer shapes” then if I tell to engrave, goes sits on a hole engraving if I divide by the estimated time is 5 minutes per hole. So I have no idea wqs going on. I used polar before and no issues. looked for an answer, but didn’t find one.

Any ideas
Thanks

What is a Polar Pattern? Send file and someone will look at it

Whats called circular array in lightburn, which I always forget.

Are you trying to engrave the outline of the holes or cut the holes? Uploading the file would help.

Yes cutting the holes, the other two cuts work fine, the square and outer perimeter.

Here’s the problem. I see this when I go to the preview window. Click show me, then delete. This will remove the duplicates and it will work fine.

Thanks, that gave an idea, for some reason, I couldn’t get the the duplicate message you show me, but what I did was went to edit(shapes) and found the 719 duplicates of each circle.
Now a second question, how did that happen( what did I do to cause it), Again thanks the cutting is almost done.

I’m not sure why I get the duplicates message and you don’t and I have no idea how you got the duplicates without a full explanation of how you created the file. Sorry.

Yeah, happened to me once and I have (mostly) no idea how. Guessing here, but you may have used CTRL-D multiple times, but did not realize you were making copies of copies, doubling each time.

Not saying you did this, but I caught myself doing this. Now if something does not work out, I make grand use of CTRL-Z.
