I don't understand this at all

I’m setting speed per layer, and power per object.
Four of my test squared didn’t cut (no laser even visible) and when I query those shapes they are set to the correct power.
Most of my text didn’t engrave. The text that did engrave is a single text object and should read “20” The rest of the text has the same power and layer settings.

When I run it in the preview window, it’s all good.

Where do I even look for this?

Not sure I’m seeing correctly, but you have your text set at speed 1000 and power 1? Is that right? If so, I doubt your text is outputting at all.

It’s a 40W laser. That “2” that printed was at that setting, as was the rest of the text on that layer.
