I get a transfer or there’s a problem sending data to the laser and it says the machine may be busy or pause

Ortur uses GRBL

You could be on the wrong COM port. Open the Console window and the Laser window and see if the welcome message is in the Console window. If not, try a different COM port (bottom middle) in the Laser window.

This may also help you move forward more effectively.
