I have a longer5-40 and it worked till it did not. Trial of Lightburn ran out. Bought Lightburn and files still do not print. Laser moves like it should - just does not burn. Any ideas on what I can do or should do

First timer - I have a longer 540 W laser and everything worked fine until it didn’t. I was using a trial version of light burn. I extended the trial and around that time the laser stopped printing like it was. I don’t know if this is a laser issue or if this is a software issue I purchased the license and the programs I created originally are still not printing. The laser moves at Holmes even moves across like it should burn, but it’s not again. I’m just not sure if this is something that is on the longer laser side or if it is an issue with light burned as the trial period was about to expire like I said I renewed the license, but it’s still not working

Any thoughts on what I should do next?

Need more info to help. This is a start and more questions may follow.
Please post a screenshot (not a cell phone pic) of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Editor Settings tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon) with Dimensions/Units tab and also Basic Settings tab.

Basically there is no difference in trial or purchase version of LB.
To be able to troubleshoot you should upload a project file with the problem, so that others can rule out or confirm a software/settings problem. If that is not the case, the laser itself must be troubleshooted.
