I know I am limited to three machines. If I use the license code on my main PC that runs the laser, and then two macbooks- when I retire one of the macbooks will I be able to use that code again on the machine that i replace it with? Not sure how that works!

I wonder- has anyone had an issue where they type in the license code and now the laser doesn’t respond at all to lightburn? That’s what is happening to me right now. I’ve tried to turn the laser and the PC off and back on, exit the software and start again- and nothing. I can’t get the laser to home or frame or anything. And it has worked flawlessly for a couple of weeks.
When I go to machine settings it says “communication with controller failed” but the usb cable is plugged in at both points, and if i turn the laser off i get the confirmation tone from windows and when i plug it back in, i also get the confirmation tone from windows. ODD!!! no clue what is happening.
May have steered you wrong. That may deactivate all.
May have to go to license poral and deactivate an individual one.
Gotcha!!! OTOH, my laser isn’t working at all now. And I didn’t deactivate anything yet. It’s only installed on one machine.
Does the new computer have the same drivers loaded as the old one ?
No, what you pointed him to only deactivates the license on that particular machine, not on everything.
