"I Love Glitter" Font not working

I purchased a new cursive font named “I love glitter”. The Font is installed on my Windows computer and I am able to use the Font in all of my applications except for LightBurn. The font appears in the list and I can select it, but when I use the font it appears as Ariel. I have rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled the font, but still the same issue. I have used other cursive writing fonts that work, just not this one.

LightBurn Version: 1.0.06 on Windows 10 Pro

This is going to be hard to troubleshoot unless someone else happens to have the font. There are some occasional known font issues scattered here and there but mostly with Mac.

What is the font type? I’m wondering if converting the font from TTF->OTF or vice versa might coax it to work.

Thank you. I will try that now.

Sadly, that didn’t work either. I think I will just create a file in Inkscape with what I need to do and then import that into LightBurn

Is this the same font?

It seems they have a personal edition. I downloaded it and it seems to work. I installed the .OTF version.

This is on W11 but can’t imagine it’s too different for W10.

That is the one, but I got it from a different source. I just downloaded from dafont and installed the OTF as you did, and that worked. Thank you so much!

Weird. So does the license apply irrespective of source and not tied to the font itself? Meaning it’s not a different font file for the licensed version?

It’s cool that the two 't’s have a different cross when they’re side to side.
