Hi gang… I’m trying to use the laser on a cotton bag (I’ve had good success previously)… but no matter the speed i enter, the laser is moving so slowly its burning right through. I’ve looked but cannot see where this may have been discussed and if it was, my apologies. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Perhaps the speed units are in mm/min, rather than the mm/s you’re used to for the CO₂ laser in your profile, so it’s moving at 1/60 the speed you expect:
I’ll head back to settings, but I’ve got 3 lasers, an 80watt CO2, a 20 watt fiber and the UV. I’ve been exclusively playing with the UV and it’s been wonderful… up until it wasn’t!
That begs the statement… Tell us more about the UV.
