I would like to cut some templates using an SVG file I purchased on Etsy. When I import the file into Lightburn, the shapes are larger than the grid. I am unsure what to ask in order to teach myself how to make these cuts. Here is a picuture of what I see on the screen.
You could ungrounded the pieces and re-group make the width of the job less wide, and then use ‘print and cut’ to move the wood after cutting the first half of the job.
Or you can un-group all parts and cut one at a time (or more if they will fit) by placing each piece at an angle so it fits on the work area.
Or you can scale the plan down and make a smaller chair!
What you want to investigate is the print and cut feature. I would separate this into 2 parts. It looks like there are 3 pieces that will fit on the bed. I would cut those first, then arrange the other 4 for print and cut. There are many videos on YouTube that explain the process. Here is one I did.
Another option if smaller finished product is okay is to select everything, then scale it down by dragging a corner. I do this a lot and 99% of the time it works without issues.
