I still haven't found a solution to my problems

i cant get lightborn to work. when I use line. that is how it works. when I use fill or line fill. then the z needle goes down as it should, but it doesn’t want to lift the spaces, eg between letters.
I have Nej Max 4
if I have 2 objects on the workspace, and only want to print one of them, I used to be able to just select that object, and only it was cut out. now when you select an object, you still see both objects in the preview, and both objects are printed. this arose when I changed my computer, from a windows 10 to a windows 10 pro. I have tried everything, but to no avail. please help me

It might be a good idea to use Google Translate and translate your post. After all, not many people speak Norwegian, Swedish or Danish here in the forum. This is how I correspond with the forum

Let me see if I can answer one of the questions:

If it is cutting everything on the layer (both the A and the B) when you are only selecting the “A” then it’s probably because you have toggled off the “Cut Selected Graphics” switch. When off, it will send everything on that layer to the machine… when on, it would only send the letter you selected (or anything else in that selection).

You also don’t mention what kind of laser you are using. Let us know…

I suspect the dragging lines (I think you called it “z needle”) is a machine setting, and someone might be able to point you to that setting, since it seems to be engraving when it shouldn’t.

ok thanks, now that part works👍. now only the z axis remains, when I run line, it works. but when I run fill, the z axis does not lift, then fills the entire letter

You shouldn’t need to alter Z position during the execution of such a simple a job. The laser beam should turn off during traversing moves. Go to Edit>Machine Settings, Do you have $32 set to one? (Laser mode On) and S Max set to 1000? Nevermind. I see you posted this already. I don’t see anything unusual there, but I think you have a setting somewhere that’s preventing the laser beam from reducing power during traverse.
