Hi, I have a lightburn core version registered on my computer.
I want to try the latest version to decide to upgrade or not.
Do I have to release the license before installing the test version?
Otherwise, what will happen with activation if I uninstall the test version and reinstall my old?

No, you can upgrade and downgrade as you please, without touching your license. You have 3 sites and only when you want to use an extra computer do you have to “release” an old one. I often test different LB versions with different lasers, no problem.
ps. you just install the version you want to test without uninstalling the “old” one first, and the same vice versa.

Forgot to mention, make a “Bundle” of your settings and export them to later import them to another computer, and check the units of measurement just to be sure.
