IKIER K1 Pro 20 Watt

Check for “problematic” options Z related trough the touch screen.

@parsec Sorry, i didn’t understand your last hint,
the “autofocus”-action can be started from the touchscreen (when the usb-stick is attached an a gc-File is selected) AND there is a separate button (in line with the power-switch) — the error occurs with both methods …

Meanwhile i got an email from the support, which was not helpful a all:
*Please download the software on the computer to set the parameters for cutting. *
Note that the speed unit should be set to MM/MIN and the default power value on the software should be set to 1000.

Sorry I meant to check options accessed via the touchscreen that can interfere with function with Lightburn, namely " laser automatic procedures" when the laser starts a project or security checks ( maybe related to Z ??? )

In fact, there are now - and I hope it stays that way - no more problems with the error message. In the meantime, I have gradually followed all the advice and thank you very much @parsec … I also disassembled the frame, checked the cable guides and reassembled the frame and tightened all the screws. I don’t know what the problem was in the end. Nevertheless, I am very grateful for the support

Here the advice, that came just now from support@atomstack.net:

Dear customer,

  1. The alarm of exceeding the maximum stroke should be caused by the Z-axis limit switch.
Manually press the upper limit switch of the Z-axis and the lower limit switch of the laser to see if the prompt can be triggered? Pay attention to check whether the upper limit switch of the Z-axis is damaged?

  2. The soft limit must be turned off, and the hard limit needs to be turned on for the limit switch to work.
If you need to use it first, you can try to unplug the limit switch on the Z-axis, turn off the Z-axis function, and focus manually first.

  3. For the problem of not being able to cut, please provide a cutting video for us to see, and shoot the software parameters, laser status, and focal length 8mm clearly.
