Hi Colin, I appreciated your reply.
To your question:
…I had no other software open
I also pressed the reset button on the display of the iKier K1. (Sometimes there are also “disagreements”)
I haven’t tried it via a hub yet (…I have to test it)
The problem is that there is an old installer (CH34x_Install_V1.5.rar) and it is still calibrated for USB 3.0)
But my MacBook Pro with the M1 chip is equipped with 3 USB-C (USB 3.1) and that’s probably the problem, which is why I’ll try it with a hub,
but I don’t have much hope.
(…I’m not the professional who just manages everything (…I’m 70 years old …in my head around 35 to 42 years old! - hi hi -
Mac Man from beginning)
…I have already contacted the Chinese manufacturer iKier (Atomstack) and am waiting for a second answer.
They probably don’t know that there is also USB-C, although the iKier is equipped with it and the latest computers will probably only be available with these connections in the future.
They also sent me a new driver, which also mainly has USB 3.0
So at the moment I bought a “car” that is new but doesn’t drive because it doesn’t have the right steering wheel (well, something like that)
Now I have to wait until some nice „pound cake“ helps me (hi hi, no offense meant
Why can’t I buy a device that I set up, connect and laser away? (aaaaaaaaaaaah … that felt good now!)
lovely wishes
