iKier Master <-> Atomstack F80 air assist setup

Trying to hookup the Atomstack F80 air assist to the iKier Master; however, the outer diamerter of the hose is ~8mm and inner diameter of air assist port appears to be 6mm. I assume this is supposed to be a connector where you insert the tube, not something where I am supposed to remove the plastic piece.

Was sent by iKier and shows compatible, do I just need an adapter or something?

That is a push-lok fitting. It is meant for PVC tubing, which is fairly stiff. Running this to the laser is not a good idea.

If that hose is what they sent with the air pump, then they left out something for sure.

There was a small bit of PVC tubing that had come with the laser. I’d missed it since it wasn’t labelled or described in the manual and I had received the machine and air assist completely separate from each other.

Yeah, looks like a secure enough connection. Haven’t actually tested it out beyond connecting just yet.
