Illustrator file - multiple lines

When opening/importing an AI file, Lighburn shows 3 or more different line paths.
I’ve tried exporting different versions of AI and SVG with same results.

Am I importing incorrectly?

This typically happens when the art has been generated with line weight/width or stroke/fill to the path. For laser work, don’t do that. If you draw a circle and set the line width to say 10px, you have really created 2 paths, one circle10 px smaller, inside the other.

If you view this art in AI as a wireframe you’ll see the same effect you see in LightBurn.
