I just started getting into real production with my brand new OMTech 50w with Lightburn but I am getting tiny dots along my cut lines as seen in the picture below. The dots are only noticable on the back side of the wood and there is no noticable delay in the movement of the laser when its running. I’ve run the same cut multiple times and the dots are in different positions each time so I feel it is very unlikely to be the file especially considering it is happening on a perfectly straight line. Decreasing the minimum power doesnt help either. Does anyone have any suggestions?
That’s probably reflection from the honeycomb bed. Take it out and put it on the blades and try again.
