I have had this for 4 months. In learning this I was able to engrave on ceramic tile. Words and image. It would take 4 burns but turns out nice if core of tile is dark and face is light colored. All of a sudden it burns half the image and streaks half. Like the laser gets lazy. I have recently did an upgrade to light burn.

I do not see the problem you describe in the photo. Could you ‘mark’ the photo so they are easily seen?
So do I just change profile user name? New to this site. I will add a pic of a tile that is doing the streaks. My laser burns thru plexiglass if held to 8 second pulse. I am thinking maybe a setting in my ruins controller or when the file is sent to the laser, maybe it gets corrupt?
I have made 5 of these tiles that look good. It takes 4 to 6 burns text and image 8 hours. just recently it started streaking. I see the red like but no laser light when it is streaking. I have a 60W laser model sh-g570 usb6n57-60w 50x70 cm bed. My settings for these tiles is image 40 speed 90 max power 60 min power. Text 60 speed 80 power.
You are speaking about the areas in the top of the head, hair and the neck areas that are not crisp …?
Looks like the laser has something loose, as there is no ‘crisp’ area in the hair and neck area.
Have you looked for any kind of mechanical issue with the lens/head assembly that would cause it to go out focus?
You seem to have very long burn times, are you just doing it on the bare material?
