I am engraving a B&W map image using the THRESHOLD setting, and it engraves the whole image and then it goes back over the image a 2nd time. It does look like its adding more detail / darkening the image, but I’m just wondering why it does 2 passes instead of one?
Have you set the number of passes to two? Do you have two copies of the image sitting on top of each other? Those are really the only ways that would happen.
I went into Photoshop and flatten the image and it seemed to fix the problem. Something with the layers.thx!
