Image is being cutoff on the side

Hi. Looking for some guidance. I am using an Atomstack r8 rotary on a Hurricane. In Lightburn, I have imported my design (both as a png and svg - neither worked properly). Design was made in Canva. Images were rotated 90 degrees prior to import. I have adjusted rotations per minute and digitally measured the mugs diameter for the rotary settings. I framed multiple times with no error messages; however, the end result always has a side cut-off. It’s missing maybe 3-5 mm of the image. I even attempted to put a long thin rectangle on the edge trying to trick it but it still cut off the image and didn’t engrave the rectangle. I’ve tightened belts (which didn’t seem loose) but can’t seem to get it to engrave the full image.

Here’s the file in question
Meredith-coffee mug=uncle baby billy.lbrn2 (116.6 KB)

On the practice mug, “IS” is missing from top text curve and “Y” is missing from the bottom text

I did engrave the image on a flat surface and no edge was cut off.

Thanks in advance

You very likely have your rotary position too close to the edge of your work area. A rotary technically has no end point but your controller doesn’t know that. For example, If you have a 100mm graphic, but your starting Y axis position is 90 the rotary will stop at 90mm.
You need to check the Y axis position in the move panel and rotate the rotary until you have more than enough space to run the graphic.
Let’s assume your bed is 400x400. If your origin is on the bottom of the graphic, rotate until your Y axis is close to 400. If you use center origin, rotate to 200. You don’t need exact numbers, just close, so there is enough room to run the graphic.
Your machine doesn’t know there is a rotary attached and has unlimited range of rotation, it only knows what dimensions are programmed into it.

Thank you! I did move the rotary and was able to get the whole image engraved but I still needed to trick it with a long rectangle on the one side which I set at .05% power. I got it done so I consider it a win!
