Hi, can anyone point me to a doc on the different image modes? i scoured the forum and the net but cant find anything that covers each more in depth.
i’d find it useful to know what mode is best for each application.
eg greyscale for variable cutters
dither vs jarvis.
threshold does?
etc
The docs for image modes are in dire need of a rewrite. The best information right now is just the text below the sample preview that describes what each mode is for. Some of them, like Dither, Jarvis, and Stucki, are very similar, and comes down to personal preference and computing speed.
