Image not fully engraved

Super novice when it comes to lasers. I am my companies Admin and tasked with laser engraving set up. I had previously used this image to engrave and now I cannot get the image to show up fully on the material. I have tried adjusting settings setting the image as pass through. We have an AtomStack A30 Pro. The material we are “engraving” is black anodized aluminum. Pretty sure that material cannot be engraved so we are basically burning off the anodizing.

Would you be able to provide a photo of what your engraving should look like? It’s odd that your image is inverted in the first screenshot. It looks as if two areas are being engraved on top of one another and thus canceling each other out. We need more information in order to solve your issue.

Please include a screenshot(s) of your cut settings in your file, you can access them by double clicking on them from the cuts/layers window.

Black anodized aluminum is definitely engravable. Burning off a layer is engraving as engraving is defined as the process of selectively removing microscopic layers of material, thus creating visible marks on the treated surface.

Is the image just numbers? I would use the text feature and exact duplicate them size and location of the image and ditch the image.

Just my thoughts.
