Hi All I use a Neje Master 20W laser v2 motherboard. I have successfully updated firmware etc to be able to use Lightburn software quite successfully actually… I am very impressed! I have however run into something that I have not see before - on Acrylic in large size my image will only burn about half way to top. If I reduce the size to small … perfect etch, halfway will burn properly 50% of time - when I increase the size I only get the bottom half of the image although the laser does seem to pass over the top part there is not burn - wondering if anyone has seen this before. I have managed to burn the large size on wood, put a circle around it and cut it out without issue so this is puzzling…
Is the laser overheating and shutting off?
