Implementing a layer system

Hi.
Im using lightburn for a year now and it is great.But since i used it the first time a question poped up in my head: would it be possible to implement a system, where you can create and name as many layers as you want, save them, export/import them and search them by name.
Such a system would make this software even better.

It seems that you are basically describing the Material Library
We don’t currently have search, but it’s planned.
