When to try to “import graphic from project” to my art library, I get the message “The selected shapes could not be added to your art library”
When I first started added to my art library, it wouldn’t work. I closed and reopened the program a couple of times and it just magically started working. Now it won’t import from project again.
Ok… I found out what it going on, but I don’t know why it’s happening. Some of the libraries will allow me to add to them, while other won’t. Any idea why?
Okay, I figured it out.
TL:DR answer… don’t put your libraries somewhere on your PC that needs administrative permission to change them.
I put some of my libraries in my C:program files/lightburn/art folder and some of them in a folder on my desktop. If I try to put a graphic in a library that is in the program file/lightburn/art folder, I’ll get the message “The selected shapes could not be added to your art library” …because… Lightburn doesn’t have permission to make changes to that part of my drive. so it throws that message up instead of “you need administrative permission to make changes”.
I hope this helps someone else in the future…
