Imported File is Reversed

When I import a DXF made in Fusion 360 it always shows up reversed. It’s not a huge problem with a simple Shift-H to reverse it to the right orientation but I was wondering if there is a way to import it correctly?

Thanks!

I’ve never heard of this. Are you certain it’s not an issue with the orientation of the model in Fusion 360?

Do you have an example file you can upload here? You may need to add a .txt extension to get the forum to accept the file.

It could be. Here’s the link to the file in its proper orientation: Fusion

Let me know what you think!

I get this when I try to open the link:

Sorry, just getting to this. I’ll try another method this evening.

berainlb, This forum doesn’t accept F3D but here’s the DXF.

UpperLeftPanel.dxf (11.3 KB)

I think this may be the case, when i open the sketch in autocad it is in the -X & -Y coordinates.
you may need to change the orientation layout in fusion 360. I don’t use fusion so can’t give you any more insight other than this.

Good point. I’m drawing it in the X-Z plane in Fusion. I’ll try it in a test sketch in another plane and see if that works.

Yep, that worked! Using the X-Y plane imports into Lightburn in the correct orientation. Thanks for all the replies!
