Importing svg files created by inkscape

I have created a drawing in Inkscape, basically, a star with the arms shaded. (Sort of gives it a three-dimensional effect.). I save the drawing as an .svg file and when I try to bring the drawing into LightBurn, no matter what process I use (Import/open/drag-in), it comes in as a basic star without any of the shading. Am I doing something wrong, either in Inkscape when I save/export the image to bringing it into LightBurn? Or is something ‘special’ happening between the save/export Inkscape process and the LightBurn Open/import process?

LightBurn will only import the vector outlines and completely ignore anything else such as fills, drop-shadows etc.

If you want to get your shading into LB you’ll need to export from InkScape in a raster format such as jpg or png.
