Hi everyone, I’ve noticed an issue with my diode laser machine and I’d like some help identifying the cause.
My machine has a 400mm working area on the X axis. I ran a test cutting two squares, each exactly 91mm. One square was positioned near the origin (X=0), and the other was placed at the far end of the X axis (close to X=400mm).
The square near the origin came out perfectly at 91mm. However, the one near the far end of the X axis measured only 89.4mm.
I repeated the test multiple times, and the results are consistent — the square near the far end is always 1.6mm smaller.
Any idea what could be causing this?
